Engineer moving into high-value sales · Kent, UK

I build it. I fix it. I sell it.

I'm an engineer and business owner who has sold electric car conversions above £60,000. Now I want to put that mix of technical depth and customer trust to work in high-value sales.

Why sales

Big decisions go to people buyers trust.

When someone is spending serious money, they want a person who knows the product, tells the truth and sees it through. That's how I've run my businesses.

  • I've sold at this levelMultiple classic car conversions above £60,000, face to face, to people buying something they care about.
  • I earn trustMore than 100 five-star reviews at my own business, built by explaining what's wrong and what it will cost.
  • I fill the pipelineI use AI to win more enquiries at a lower cost per lead, and turn more website visitors into leads.
  • I learn fastI keep picking up new fields and putting them into practice. A new market is a problem I know how to approach.

The next step

From a grain of rice to the skyline.

So far, the biggest things I've built and sold are cars. The trust and product knowledge behind those sales scale up, and I want to take them further. Here's the journey on a logarithmic scale.

Selected work

Real products, with real customers.

Co-owner and electrical engineer

Relik Electric

We convert classic cars to electric in a Kent workshop: Land Rovers, Porsche 911s, Fiat 500s, VW buses and more. I lead the electrical engineering and work directly with customers from first conversation to handover.

I've sold multiple projects above £60,000. We also developed a simpler way to convert a car than many others in the trade.

Embedded design

EV gauge clusters

I've built multiple ESP32 instrument clusters that read a car's CAN bus and turn it into clear information on LCD displays, with web interfaces for setup and diagnostics.

Founder and repair engineer

Limitless Repairs

My repair business in Ashford has more than 100 five-star reviews. I take on complex micro-soldering work under the microscope, from phones and consoles to MacBooks, drones and data recovery.

PrintAir

Plenty of printers still work perfectly and get thrown away because they can't talk to modern devices. PrintAir connects an ESP32 to old or dying print hardware and adds AirPrint and a web interface, so anyone can print from a phone.

Always learning

I learn by building.

I build apps to learn something new, then put it straight into practice. Each of these taught me a skill I didn't have when I started.

WorkoutMaker

My first App Store release: a gym tracker for planning your week, logging every set and seeing your progress in one clear app.

It handles strength, cardio, timed holds, drop sets and rest-pause sets, and shows your last session beside your inputs. It launched in December 2024, and I'm still improving it.

Simple Remote

Turns an iPhone or iPad into a Bluetooth trackpad and keyboard for a Mac or Windows PC, with no Wi-Fi, no account and nothing to install on a Mac.

The phone publishes itself as a standard Bluetooth LE HID device using original report maps and GATT services, so the computer treats it like a real mouse. Automated tests confirm a swipe travels the same distance at 24, 60, 120 and 240 touch samples.

Relay

Remote play for your own Xbox on iPhone and iPad. Pick up your game on a smaller screen, with a Bluetooth controller or customisable touch controls.

It handles native sign-in and console discovery, streams video and audio over WebRTC, and sends controller input over Xbox data channels.

AI in practice

From idea to reality. In days.

AI lets one person do what used to take a team. I set the direction, AI does the heavy lifting, and real-world testing decides what's true.

  • 5 daysfrom first research to a finished app, website and store artwork
  • 30+numbered builds in that time
  • 2platforms: an iOS app and a Windows helper

  • SimplifyBreak a complicated problem into clear steps, then work through them one at a time.
  • Speed upGo from a rough idea to something people can try in days, then improve it from real feedback.
  • Stay aheadI use the newest AI tools on real projects, so I know what's possible now and what's still hype.

Real business results

More leads. Lower cost. More customers.

I use AI to grow real businesses, and it's already paying off.

  • Lower cost per leadEvery pound of ad spend now works harder.
  • More enquiriesMore potential customers getting in touch.
  • Higher conversionsMore website visitors turning into real leads.

I got there by using AI to manage our Google Ads and improve the flow and efficiency of limitlessrepairs.co.uk and relikelectric.co.uk.

The same edge works in sales.

Research a buyer before the first call, prepare tailored proposals in minutes and keep every follow-up on track.

This website is an example. I directed AI from the first brief to the published page, in a single session.

Where I fit

High-value sales is my next step.

These are the kinds of roles I'm looking at, and what I'd bring to each.

  • Premium propertyNew to the industry, with experience guiding customers through expensive, personal decisions and a habit of learning a market in detail.
  • Luxury and high-net-worth salesClassic car owners are already my customers. I understand people buying something special, and I can talk about it with real knowledge.
  • Technical and enterprise salesEV, hardware, software and AI. I can sell a complex product and answer the hard question myself.
  • Business developmentI run businesses and generate the leads myself. Lower cost per lead, more enquiries and higher conversions are results I've already delivered.
  • Diagnose firstFault-finding and selling start the same way. Ask, listen and find the real problem before suggesting a fix.
  • Know the productI learn how something works down to the detail, so buyers get straight answers on the spot.
  • See it throughA customer's trust is earned after the sale too. I've always stayed with the job through to delivery.

Got something valuable to sell?

I'm looking for a move into high-value sales, whether that's property, luxury or technical products. If you want someone who earns trust and learns fast, let's talk.
